
The flag of Italy in this current form has been in use since June 19, 1946. The colors are green, white and red.
COMMON INTERPRETATION THE COLORS:
Green - represents the country's plains and the hills
White - represents the snow- Alps
Red - represents the blood in Wars of Italian Independence.
